Ramona Wood writes and illustrates stories about people in
unusual situations. She researches and tells a story in simple terms and then
creates the pictures to bring it to life.
Ramona has written and illustrated for magazines such as Pockets for
Children. She won an award in 2000 from the National Museum of Women in the
Arts for her work in creating books for children.
Her other titles are:
The Goat Woman of Smackover and A Day Set Apart.
A COLORING CONTEST IS BEING HELD FOR TWO AGE GROUPS: 4 & Under and 5-9. PICK UP A COPY OF THE COLORING PAGE AT THE MAIN DESK IN THE STORE AND RETURN IT BY 4 PM ON TUESDAY, JULY 24. One prize of a copy of NOW CAITLIN CAN will be awarded for each age group.
